On May 3, 2003, AWE Tuning hosted a Tech day for the Riesentöter Region of the Porsche Club of America.

Staff from the AWE Fabrication division provided participants with a unique view into the process of exhaust manufacturing.

As a special demonstration, we manufactured a muffler bypass test pipe for a 94 964 C4. Before manufacturing, the C4 was dyno tested on the AWE Tuning AWD chassis dyno. The C4 was then driven onto the AWE Fabrication prototype lift and the manufacturing demonstration commenced. After assembly and fitment, the C4 was then driven back on the dyno and retested. To the delight of the owner, ~10 whp and 10 wheel torque was produced by the test pipe.
