AWE RELEASES SWITCHPATH™ AND TRACK EDITION EXHAUSTS FOR BMW G82 M2

AWE, the precision engineering firm based outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, has announced the release of its new exhaust suite for BMW’s G82 M2.

"With the success of AWE's M3 and M4 exhausts for the G8X platform, we evolved our concept for the G87 M2, and the result is nothing short of the best kit out there. Optional mid-pipes, T304L Stainless, Made in the USA, 50 state legal, function with factory controls, and a sound track that finally amps the S58 into what G87 owners wanted,” stated AWE VP, Jesse Kramer.

The exhaust suite will consist of two exhaust configurations, SwitchPath™ and Track Edition, and modular Non-Resonated Performance Mid Pipes for additional sound tuning.

AWE’s SwitchPath™ Exhaust for the G8X platform is their first valved configuration for a BMW model to incorporate their patented drone-canceling solution, 180 Technology™. The valveless Track Edition will grant an aggressive soundtrack at all times along with a 13 lb weight savings over stock. Both exhausts are 50-state emissions-compliant, constructed of 3” T304L stainless steel, feature a bespoke X-pipe for the S58, and come complete with signature 4.5” slash-cut tips.
