The AWE Tuning Golf R C|C|B Intake was designed to smooth airflow through the intake, resulting in impressive mid-range power gains. The AWE Tuning Golf C|C|B guarantees CEL-free operation while sustaining solid trim levels. Aftermarket intakes with open air filters suck in the heat from the engine bay, killing any power gains generated by a freer flowing filter. The AWE Tuning Golf R C|C|B Intake features a fully enclosed carbon fiber box so only cool, fresh air enters the engine.

“During preliminary engineering evaluations, we saw that the Golf R could benefit greatly from a less restrictive intake system, and market analysis showed that the marketplace sought a product that would produce low trim level readings.
