AWE Tuning Sponsors ‘Beat the HEAT’ Program; Anti Substance Abuse Education for Young Drivers
Willow Grove, PA
February 18, 2014
AWE Tuning is proud to announce their sponsorship of “Beat the HEAT”, a program aimed at educating young drivers on the dangers of street racing, distracted driving and substance abuse while offering the opportunity to race their vehicles in a safe, controlled environment.
"The 'Beat the HEAT' program is not only a force for good in the community, it also offers a safe way for AWE Tuning clients to experience their vehicle’s performance,” Vice President of Marketing Jesse Kramer stated.
AWE Tuning’s sponsorship of “Beat the HEAT” helps the program function without the use of tax dollars. AWE Tuning products will be used on Deputy Rich Younker’s Volkswagen GLI, which has been highly modified for drag racing usage.
“AWE Tuning coming on board is a testament to the strength of Beat the HEAT’s message, and AWE Tuning’s commitment to enjoying performance driving in a safe environment,” Gwinnett County Deputy and Beat the HEAT driver Rich Younker said.
More information about the Beat the HEAT program and instructions on how to get involved can be found on the Gwinnett County Beat the HEAT website.
