AWE's entry into the Mercedes-Benz market in 2016 allowed the us to get acquainted with various Mercedes models, including the AMG C 63 platform in particular, and the adoration for the rear-wheel-4.0TT monster never left. Once laying eyes on the new W213 platform, we knew we needed another dose of AMG muscle, but this time, our long history with avants and our obsession with wagons got the best of us. We set our sights on AMG E 63 S Wagon and never looked back.

We're no stranger to a German-bred V8, and though the factory-equipped AMG Performance Exhaust was quite impressive, it needed more. Acting as the lead development vehicle for the new W213 E 63 Exhaust Suite, we developed a signature SwitchPath™ Exhaust to allow the wagon to truly rumble, all while unlocking 21 hp and 6 ft-lbs of torque at the wheels.

For this particular project, we teamed up with Forgeline to equip wheels that compliment the Wagon's brawny, yet streamlined aesthetic. To keep the power on the ground, Michelin proffered their newly released Pilot Sport 4S tires in sizes formerly unavailable in the U.S. market. A few touches, and the E 63 Estate transformed into a vehicle that turns heads and receives praise from drivers of all types while barreling down the road. When it comes to designating the alpha male of the wagon market, you're looking at it.
