AWE's Touring Edition Exhaust takes the MK8 GTI’s performance and sound to another level. Built to harmonize with the platform’s updated 7-speed transmission, it delivers a bold, commanding exhaust note when you’re on throttle while ensuring a serene, drone-free cabin experience on the highway.

For the first time in GTI history, AWE has equipped this platform with their innovative 180 Technology®. This breakthrough drone-canceling technology creates a deep, satisfying rumble when accelerating, while maintaining a quiet, composed tone at cruising speeds. It’s the perfect blend of aggression and refinement, designed to complement the MK8’s polished persona.

Touring Edition: Perfecting the Details

The Touring Edition Exhaust begins with a 3” inlet and includes an adapter to flawlessly integrate with the factory downpipe. For those who want even more flexibility, the open 3” connection offers options for future upgrades. A bespoke, straight-through mid-pipe resonator—engineered specifically for the MK8—ensures a hearty, resonant tone throughout the rev range, whether you’re short-shifting or redlining.

Visually, the system is capped off with massive 5” double-walled, slash-cut tips, perfectly filling the GTI’s valence for a bold yet sophisticated aesthetic. Available in diamond black or chrome silver, these tips fill the voids in the Mk8's valance perfectly

OEM+ Build: Enhancing the Icon

To complement the AWE Touring Edition exhaust, we added a suite of enhancements to this MK8 GTI. Rotiform wheels wrapped in Falken tires give it a purposeful stance, while H&R lowering springs provide improved handling and a sleeker profile. A piggyback tune ties it all together, unlocking even more performance from this already impressive machine.
